The Streets Department provides street and right-of-way maintenance services on all roadways (approximately 140 miles) throughout the City. Conducts a variety of services to include routine maintenance such as pothole patching, street cut repairs, grass removal, mowing of right-of-ways, scheduled maintenance such as crack sealing, six year seal coat program, level-up and overlays. Also installs and maintains all City regulatory traffic control, street and departmental signs.

After Hours Emergency Assistance
Citizens needing emergency assistance for Public Works issues such as Water, Wastewater, Sewer, or Streets not covered during the regular work hours of 7:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m should contact the Police Department at (254) 547-4272 to request after-hours on-call assistance.
