The Wastewater Treatment Department operates and maintains the City’s three wastewater treatment facilities with a total permitted daily flow capacity of 9.0 million gallons, in accordance with laws, established rules and permitted requirements issued by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).

Laboratory Treatment facilities are operational 24 hours a day. However, business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday for all wastewater treatment operations. assistance/information may also be obtained through Water/Wastewater Operations at (254) 547-0751 or 0823.

After Hours Emergency Assistance
Citizens needing emergency assistance for Public Works issues such as Water, Wastewater, Sewer, or Streets not covered during the regular work hours of 7:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m should contact the Police Department at (254) 547-4272 to request after-hours on-call assistance.
