Solid Waste Transfer Station

The goal of the Solid Waste Disposal Division is to provide the citizens of Copperas Cove a convenient, efficient, and environmentally sound method for disposing of solid waste.

The Transfer Station receives solid waste in accordance with regulations set by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). Waste is accepted from both City-owned and private disposal entities. The convenience afforded by the Transfer Station benefits all Copperas Cove citizens by providing a safe method to dispose of municipal solid waste. Personnel at the Transfer Station are also responsible for the post-closure maintenance of the old landfill.
